Nutritional breakfasts don’t have to be complicated or take forever. This delicious bowl of chocolate protein oats took 3 minutes to make and probably less than 30 seconds to devour! 😉
Ingredients
For the oats
- 30g oats
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp. cacao powder
- Cacao powder is a superfood and has many mood boosting properties – read the list of benefits here
For the topping
- Handful frozen blueberries (they defrost in the hot oats)
- Drizzle of choc shot
- Sprinkle of dark chocolate swirls (optional)
- Sprinkle of white chocolate stars (optional)
Directions
- Pop all the oat ingredients into a microwaveable bowl and mix thoroughly
- Pop into the microwave for 1 minute – stir and then pop back in for another minute
- Remove from microwaveable bowl and pop in a pretty bowl (optional of course 😉 )
- Add the toppings
- Enjoy!
